As expected, I missed the 10 AM Angels game this morning. If Bally Sports aired a rebroadcast of the sweep against the Marlins, the game was not listed on the schedule. The Dodgers had a game tonight so I was still able to watch some baseball. I ended up watching most of this game instead of simply flipping the channel for Ohtani. There was big Ohtani news tonight. Shohei finally got his first regular season home run as a Dodger!
Spectrum SportsNet LA kept repeating the same four commercials for Calr’s Jr. and Jack in the Box. One of my goals for this project is to find out once and for all which of these chains I watch the most commercials for. Tonight’s results were inconclusive. I watch the same number of commercials and saw the same number of banner ads for both chains.
One thing I noticed about the commercials tonight is that there was only one restaurant featured per commercial break. The same restaurant could squeeze two commercials into one break, but I never saw an instance where there was a Carl’s Jr. ad followed up by a Jack in the Box ad.
