The first Gubie Tuesday of the Angels season ended with a win. Dodgers also won today. I watched more of the Dodgers game than I was expecting to because I thought Ohtani was going to get another plate appearance. My prediction was wrong.
Despite only watching two complete innings of the Dodgers game, I saw plenty of fast food commercials. Wendy’s even ran a commercial. The Dodgers are running a promotion this season for a free Jumbo Jack at Jack in the Box at participating locations when Dodgers pitching gets 10 or more strikeouts in a single game so there was a banner ad for that.
I finally watched a Carl’s Jr. commercial on Bally Sports. Both Bally Sports and Spectrum SportsNet LA also had replays sponsored by Carl’s Jr. I wonder how many baseball broadcasts they are sponsoring.
Tomorrow’s Angels game starts at 10 AM. I haven’t checked the schedule, but I am hoping that Bally Sports shows a rebroadcast of the game in the evening.
